Consumables

Client Pack

Our client pack is available which provides information on our services, pricelist, postage paid labels and personalised submission forms. Please ring us or e-mail us to request a pack for your practice!

We can provide free of charge new pots and padded envelopes, but for environmental reasons we would prefer to send good, used but re-usable supplies. If you would like either new or used supplies please let us know. Self-adhesive postage paid address labels are supplied but to print your own postage labels click here.

Laboratory Routine

Samples arrive in the morning post, and are booked into the system. The tissue is trimmed ready for processing. The processing is normally carried out overnight. The sections are cut and stained the day after they are received in the laboratory and a result is usually available on that day. We send a typed report and a copy of your submission form by first class post, fax or e-mail (as requested).

Invoicing

Itemised invoices are prepared monthly. We request payment in full within 30 days of the invoice. We reserve the right to levy a surcharge of 2.5% per month on outstanding invoices.

Interest Only Specimens

Specimens not required for diagnosis but for interest only will be charged at 70% of the above rates, but results may take longer to be reported.

We are happy to discuss any cases with our clients.

If you wish to discuss cases that we have already reported then please quote the laboratory reference number. If you do not have this, you will be asked for your practice name, practice address and the owner’s name, as it is these details which we need for our computer system in order to obtain the reference number and as a security precaution.
